We collect the minimum needed to run your inbox and keep it secure:
Messages are encrypted in transit and at rest. Where end-to-end encryption applies, your content is sealed so that it cannot be read on our servers. Because of this design, we are technically unable to hand over readable message content we do not hold the keys to.
We use the data above only to deliver and secure your inbox, process payments, prevent abuse, comply with the law, and reply when you contact us.
We rely on performance of our contract with you (running your account), our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure, your consent where required, and our legal obligations.
We share data only with vetted providers who help us operate — for example payment processing and infrastructure hosting — and only what they need. They are bound by contract to protect it. We may disclose data if legally compelled, and where lawful we will tell you first.
We keep your account data while your account is open. When you delete your account, your mailbox and personal data are removed from active systems promptly and purged from backups within 30 days, except where we must retain limited records for legal or accounting reasons.
Where data is processed outside your region, we use recognised safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses to keep your protections intact.

MailResolve is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly create accounts for them.

These terms are the agreement between you and MailResolve. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.
By signing up for or using MailResolve at mailresolve.net, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent where you live) and able to enter a binding contract.
You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at security@mailresolve.net if you suspect unauthorised access. We recommend enabling two-factor authentication.
You agree not to use MailResolve to:

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis until cancelled. Prices are shown before purchase. New paid subscriptions include a 14-day money-back window; after that, fees already paid are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise.
You can cancel any time from your account settings, and you keep access until the end of the paid period. You may export and delete your data on the way out. We may suspend or end accounts that violate these Terms, with notice where reasonable.
Your messages and data are yours. You grant us only the limited permission needed to store, transmit, and display your mail so the service can work. We claim no ownership of your content.
We work hard to keep MailResolve fast and reliable, but the service is provided "as is" without warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation. Planned maintenance will be announced where possible.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MailResolve is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which MailResolve is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Insert your governing law and venue here.
We may update these Terms. If changes are material, we will notify you before they take effect. Continued use after that means you accept the updated Terms.

Most email is free because you are the product. MailResolve isn't free that way — you pay us, and that's the whole business model. Here is what we promise in return.
You will never see an advertisement inside MailResolve — no sponsored messages, no "promoted" mail, no banners.
We do not scan or analyse the content of your messages to target you. Where end-to-end encryption applies, we couldn't even if we wanted to.
We will never sell, rent, or trade your personal information. There are no ad networks or data brokers behind the curtain.
No third-party ad trackers, no cross-site cookies, no shadow profile of who you are.
If we ever change this model, it won't be quiet. We would tell you clearly and in advance — and you would keep the right to export everything and leave.
